CAMP FAQ's

General Questions
What is your camp all about?
Our horseback riding camps are designed for kids who love horses! Campers enjoy daily riding sessions, hands-on horse care including grooming and tacking. We also have fun equine-themed activities and crafts.

Who can attend camp?
We welcome campers of various skill levels—from beginners to those with some riding experience. Our registration form includes questions about riding experience so we can group campers appropriately.
Beginner campers will ride with a qualified instructor and gain hands-on experience with the basics of horsemanship. Over the course of the week, they will learn to trot on the lunge line, develop beginning steering skills, and become familiar with the parts of the horse, saddle, and bridle.

Campers who already have riding experience will advance their skills by developing stronger position and control, with opportunities to canter and ride over cross rails when skill level and safety allow.
